On My Wishlist.....*3*

On My Wishlist is a great event that Book Chick City runs every Saturday. It's where you list all of the books that you desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. I thought this was a great way to start off my blog.
There  are 3 Main books that I have been itching to get my hands on, that for some reason everyone has read.

Catching Fire: Suzanne Collins
SYNOPSIS: GOODREADS
Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark won the annual competition described in Hunger Games, but the aftermath leaves these victors with no sense of triumph. Instead, they have become the poster boys for a rebellion that they never planned to lead. That new, unwanted status puts them in the bull's-eye for merciless revenge by The Capitol. Catching Fire maintains the adrenaline rush of Suzanne Collins's series launch.

This Is the second book in the Hunger Games and I am really excited about it. I really loved the first book it so capturing I guess if I used the word right. I haven't been able to read it because I have to own it. I know it's a weird thing I do I like owning books that I read especially if it's a book I know I will enjoy. I haven't had a chance to buy since this book addiction is expensive!

Clockwork Angel: Cassandra Clare
Synopsis: Goodreads
Magic is dangerous--but love is more dangerous still.

When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother, her destination is England, the time is the reign of Queen Victoria, and something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks and other supernatural folk stalk the gaslit streets. Only the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos.

Kidnapped by the mysterious Dark Sisters, members of a secret organization called The Pandemonium Club, Tessa soon learns that she herself is a Downworlder with a rare ability: the power to transform, at will, into another person. What's more, the Magister, the shadowy figure who runs the Club, will stop at nothing to claim Tessa's power for his own.

Friendless and hunted, Tessa takes refuge with the Shadowhunters of the London Institute, who swear to find her brother if she will use her power to help them. She soon finds herself fascinated by--and torn between--two best friends: James, whose fragile beauty hides a deadly secret, and blue-eyed Will, whose caustic wit and volatile moods keep everyone in his life at arm's length...everyone, that is, but Tessa. As their search draws them deep into the heart of an arcane plot that threatens to destroy the Shadowhunters, Tessa realizes that she may need to choose between saving her brother and helping her new friends save the world...and that love may be the most dangerous magic of all.

I am so excited to read this book. I have read the the mortal instruments already but I haven't gotten my hands on this book either. I'm dying to meet Will who I keep hearing is funny with his sarcastic and snarky remarks.

Paranormalcy: Kierston White
Synopsis: Goodreads
Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.
But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.

This book was all the rave when it first came out, but like usual, I am usually late on reading so many things because my booklist grows each and everyday and I wish I had more time and money to read more books. I hope I will get to read this one soon!

  2. Good list! I will say that "Catching Fire" is so shocking/ very good (as for Mockingbird? Well... I personally hated it but I have seen that the majority of people seemed pretty satisfied with it). "Clockwork Angel" IMO is okay, it isn't as good as "TMI" and "Paranormalcy" is a cute little book, the male main character in it is entirely swoon worthy!
