On My Wishlist.....*10*

On My Wishlist is a great event that Book Chick City runs every Saturday. It's where you list all of the books that you desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. I thought this was a great way to start off my blog.

Strange Angels: Lili St. Crow
SYNOPSIS: GOODREADS
Dru Anderson has what her grandmother called “the touch.” (Comes in handy when you’re traveling from town to town with your dad, hunting ghosts, suckers, wulfen, and the occasional zombie.)

Then her dad turns up dead—but still walking—and Dru knows she’s next. Even worse, she’s got two guys hungry for her affections, and they’re not about to let the fiercely independent Dru go it alone. Will Dru discover just how special she really is before coming face-to-fang with whatever—or whoever— is hunting her?

Okay so the first time I heard of this book was at the end of the Vampire Academy series, I believe they had a preview chapter at the end of the 1st 3 books, and to be honest it didn't sound too interesting so I forgot about the book. But a couple of weeks ago one of the blogs I love following which is Avery's Book Nook, she made a huge post about how amazing this series is and the millions times she's read it! So I thought it must be good, I generally agree with most of her reviews. and on top of that I love the covers and a good butt kicking heroine! SO I hope I am able to get this book so I can delve into this world and fall in love...

  3. I listened to this on audiobook and was kinda on the fence about it, but I think it's mostly because of the narrator, not the story itself.

Thanks for visiting my blog. About the rating, I thought about having a rating system, but still can't make up my mind. My rating for Wings, if I had one would probably be 3.5.

Have a great weekend and happy reading :-)

  6. I've never read any of Lili St. Crow's books and I always feel like I'm missing out. I wish I could catch one of her series' at the beginning, lol.

I've found so many really good books by picking up stuff from blogs I whose taste I've come to trust, so go for it! Hope you get to start the series soon.
