New Page!! *Favorite Quotes*

So I decided to add another page onto my BLOG!!! I recently made my sister read the Vampire Academy series which many of you know  I am obsessed with. As she read every book I would discuss all the parts I loved and we would re-read certain quotes and it made remember and capture my favorites parts in the book.

So I decided to feature my favorite quotes of Vampire Academy on my blog. As I read more books, I will also be adding any other favorite quotes I have with other books that I read. I just love the feeling of having certain quotes transporting me to a part in the Book!

Since I loved Last Sacrifice: Richelle Mead so much I wanted to begin with book. Here's My Review
Beware there are some spoilers since this is the last book of the series, and I usually don't censor!

  • "What the hell?" I asked. Is this daring escape being sponsored by Honda?"
  • "Juliet had it easy; she never had to kill Romeo."
  • "I don’t belong to anyone. I make my own choices.""And you’re with Adrian," said Dimitri. "But I was meant for you."
  • "A gun I had been brought down by a gun. It was practically comical. Cheaters, I thought. I’d spent my life focusing on hand to hand combat, learning to dodge fangs and powerful hands that could snap my neck. A gun? It was so… well, easy. Should I be insulted? I didn’t know. Did it matter? I didn’t know that either. All I knew in that moment was that I was going to die, regardless."
  • "I always love seeing what worries you. Strigoi? No. Questionable food? Yes."
  • "What?" I asked uneasily. "Why are you looking at me like that?" He shook his head, the smile rueful now. "Because sometimes, a person can get so caught up in the details that they miss the whole. It's not just the dress or the hair. It's YOU. You're beautiful. So beautiful, it hurts me."
  • "I wasn't fooled. He was avoiding looking at me. "There's nothing to talk about." "I knew you'd say that. Actually, it was a toss-up between that and 'I don't know what you're talking about.'" Dimitri sighed."
  • "You managed to get him a duster, but you couldn't find me a pair of jeans?"
  • "Okay,' I said quietly. 'I'll do whatever you say. Just remember not to talk down to me. I'm not your student anymore. I'm your equal now.' He glanced away from the side of the road just long enough to give me a surprised look. 'You've always been my equal, Roza."
  • "I loved you!" he yelled. He jumped up out of his chair so quickly I never saw it coming. "I loved you, and you destroyed me. You took my heart and ripped it up."
  • "You said you were a victim. That's why...that's why ultimately, you and I aren't matched for each other. In spite of everything that's happened, I've never though of myself that way. Being a victim means you're powerless. That you won't take action. Always...always I've done something to fight for myself...for others. No matter what."
  • "Ah, my daughter,ʺ he said. ʺEighteen, and already youʹve been accused of murder, aided felons, and acquired a death count higher than most guardians will ever see.ʺ He paused. ʺI couldnʹt be prouder."
  • "She was right about something else too," Dimitri said after a long pause. My back was to him, but there was a strange quality to his voice that made me turn around. "What's that?" I asked. "That I do still love you." With that one sentence, everything in the universe changed."
  • "Maybe under all that guilt and certainty that he couldn't love again, he still wanted me. I would have liked to have found out. But I didn't have the time. Instead, I punched him."
  • "Ah, well,ʺ said Abe, idly studying his fingertips. ʺI have it on good authority thereʹs going to be a new ‘gateʹ opening up soon over on the south side of the wall." The truth dawned on me. ʺOh lord. Youʹre the one whoʹs been doling out C4.ʺ ʺYou make it sound so easy,ʺ he said with a frown. ʺThat stuffʹs hard to get a hold of."
So what are some of  your favorite quotes from this book???

Musing Monday *1*

Musing Mondays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

This week's question is What’s the last thing you stayed up half the night reading because it was so good you couldn’t put it down?

The last book that I read that I was literally staying up till late at night was Last Sacrifice: Richelle Mead. I know, I know I am always supporting anything Richelle Mead but that's because this book was crazy good.I bought the book on December 7th (Tues.) when it finally was released which I was waiting for like 7 months to come out. But on top of that it was finals week so I couldn't read the book and I was dying to read it. Finally Saturday came HAllelujah!!! and I put my phone on silent told everyone not to call or bother and I stayed up til 7am. I  didn't know what to do when I was done reading. I wasn't tired from all the excitement of the book.

Review: Last Sacrifice: Richelle Mead

Title: Last Sacrifice
Author: Richelle Mead
Vampire Academy Series: Book 6
Summary:
Rose Hathaway has always played by her own rules.

She broke the law when she ran away from St. Vladimir’s Academy with her best friend and last surviving Dragomir Princess, Lissa. She broke the law when she fell in love with her gorgeous, off-limits instructor, Dimitri. And she dared to defy Queen Tatiana, leader of the Moroi world, risking her life and reputation to protect generations of dhampir guardian to come.

Now the law has finally caught up with Rose- for a crime she didn’t even commit. She’s in prison for the highest offense imaginable: the assassination of a monarch. She’ll need help from both Dimitri and Adrian to find the one living person who can stall her execution and force the Moroi elite to acknowledge a shocking new candidate for the royal throne: Vasilisa Dragomir.

But the clock on Rose’s life is running out. Rose knows in her heart the world of the dead wants her back… and this time she is truly out of second chances. The big question is, when your life is about saving others, who will save you?

Cover:
I really liked this cover. The girl is very pretty and it ties in very nicely with the series! Although I do like  some of the international covers for this series.
My Review:
I absolutlely love this series. (spoilers)

I am so happy Dimitri was with Rose throughout the whole book. I literally was so nervous when Dimitri was at th end of that hallway to help break Rose out. I knew he was going to be part of it he just had to be. I was laughing so much when Rose tricked Dimitri into a kiss just to punch him after. I wanted them to fall back in love; just like the way they originally had.

I really have not found any two characters that belong together the way these two do. I feel Richelle did an awesome job of showing us again why they belong together. Richelle did an awesome job at reminding and rekindleing their love for one another. There love was never i just met you so I love you and am obsessed with you. It has always been something that grew from similar morals, personalities and many other amazing things.

Although I had figured out who was Lissa sister before I read LS, I didn't know for sure who killed the queen. Wow I was surprised. The ending felt a little rushed but I think that was purposely done for many reasons. I think Richelle left those loose strings purposely for Bloodlines.

I am very happy to see Lissa being as helpful and supportive to Rose even though they weren't necessarily together. I'm so happy Rose and Dimitri ended up together. Even though I grew to like Adrian a bunch I knew he was never meant for Rose. I think Rose said it perfectly (She has never named herself the victim), and that right there says a lot about her character. She has always needed someone to have the ability to take care of her even though she can take of herself and not once did I ever think Adrian was able to be that person for her.I was upset that there wasnt much closure for Adrian, but i think Adrian will have his happy ending in Bloodlines.

I was upset of how Rose and Lissa lost the bond, but I guess it is way better for Rose. She has lost that darkness and doesn't have to worry about Lissa all the time. I think in a way the Last Sacrifice was Rose jumping in front of Lissa before she got shot.Just for the simple fact that was ultimately the last sacrifice to literally save Lissa's life while having that life time of darkness being taken away from that act.

I really loved this series, Richelle has an amazing was of making theese characters so real and I am so happy she created this beautiful world. She is an amazing author and is Officially the best. Thanks so much for this amazing Journey!!!
