Review: Wondrous Strange: Lesley Livingston

Title: Wondrous Strange
Author: Lesley Livingston
Wondrous Strange: Book 1
Summary:
17 year-old Kelley Winslow doesn’t believe in Faeries. Not unless they’re the kind that you find in a theatre, spouting Shakespeare—the kind that Kelley so desperately wishes she could be: onstage, under lights, with a pair of sparkly wings strapped to her shoulders. But as the understudy in a two-bit, hopelessly off-off-Broadway production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, wishing is probably the closest she’s going to get to becoming a Faerie Queen. At least, that’s what she thinks... In this fun, urban fantasy, Kelley's off-stage life suddenly becomes as complicated as one of Shakespeare’s plot twists when a nighttime trip to Central Park holds more than meets the mortal eye.

Cover:
I love this  cover. The girl looks so nice in that sea of blue and her electrifying red hair.
My Review:
Im very glad to have read this book, it's full of excitement. It's very enchanting and full of very likable characters. I really like Kelley she seem very strong and not naive. I don't think she is that damsel in distress at all. And sonny (i really don't like his name) is strong, brave, and attractive.

The plot of the book is so well developed and gives you a different world of fairies. I am definately looking forward to continuing this series. I like how they mixed the modern time with the fantasy. It wasn't cheesy like "Percy Jackson and the lightning thief" I felt in that book the whole greek mythology was just to fake in the modern world. Not this book this felt that in all reality there could be a mysterious world amongst Central park.

A definite must read if your into paranormal romance, the unnatural (fairies & vampires. fans of twilight, vampire academy, city of bones.
